Saturday Club
The Saturday Club is an inclusive youth project for 13 – 19 year olds. Running from 10am – 2pm. Its aim is to give space for disabled and non-disabled young people to have fun and get involved in range of activities based on their interests as well as just hang out and meet other young people
The club is dedicated to providing inclusive access for all young people, we believe it’s important for young people to be able to mix together and have access to new experiences and opportunities
We believe it is important for young people to engage in freely chosen activities and be able to be challenged and take risks, as such some of our activities can be reasonably risky but they have all been risk assessed and will be supervised by a member of staff.
All our Staff fully police checked. Staff are also first aid trained with a minimum of one first aider on site at any time.
If your young person has any specific medical needs or you are concerned about our ability support your young person please talk to us, we are willing to undertake the necessary training to support individual young people accessing the club.
We maintain high staff ratios at the club in order to support all young people accessing the activities and making the most of the club and what it has to offer.
(Running term time only, £5 per session – £7.50 if you would like us to provide lunch but please feel free to bring your own! Based at the Somer Centre, Gullock Tyning, Midsomer Norton, Radstock, BA3 2UH).
