Play Support

WPA are continuing to develop and successfully deliver vital play services. A flexible approach means WPA can work in the home, school or a community setting where children and young people can be offered individual or group support depending on their needs.

Bespoke Service : A bespoke package to engage particular needs can be requested. WPA aim to empower the people they work with in a creative way to recognise their own goals and work with them to achieve these.

Requests for 1:1 and Group Mentoring :
Children and young people can learn and develop social and life skills at the same time as improving confidence and self-esteem. Experienced Play and Youth work staff support and engage children, young people 5 – 17 years. This enables them to participate through play and learn strategies to help overcome life challenges through enjoyable and positive experiences.

This is a paid for service by referral and may be particularly relevant for children and young people with Early Actions Plans, Pupil Premium entitlements and those in care.
