Radstock Jubilee Big Lunch
There was a right royal party at Radstock Children's Centre on Saturday 1st June to celebrate The Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Local families came along to dress up as kings and queens and share a royal banquet (well - sandwiches and cakes!). WPA were on hand to help with crown making (glitter everywhere again), throne decorating and dressing up. The gathered royals of Radstock were able to make royal commands - “All grown-ups must do what children say” and “Teachers must crawl around on the floor on Mondays” before their 'coronation'.
Attended by over 200 adults and children, the festivities were topped off with a group photo and a fantastic picnic. WPA are sure her Majesty would have been proud to see that Radstock knows how to party....
